To manage Supplier Quality related matters and driving for continuous improvement on Supplier Quality performance to meet in-house Quality requirements.


  • Works closely with Supplier Chain Management in managing key suppliers from Quality standpoint.
  • Interfaces with Engineering, Operations and Quality teams within the company on supplier quality related matter such as early failure & detection and supplier quality improvement activities.
  • Liaisons with suppliers on Quality specification and coordinate on continuous Quality improvement programs across functional areas.
  • Corresponds with Purchasing, Engineering and Operations in supplier-related matters include quality issues, qualifying a new and/or alternate supplier, launching new material from an existing supplier and/or new supplier and changes management on existing materials.
  • Works on resolving MRB-related matters from suppliers and MRB dispositions.
  • Lead and conduct supplier audit based on the Supplier audit plan.
  • Working closely with Supplier Chain Management on providing Supplier scorecard quality performance assessment rating and follow up on supplier action on rating improvement.




Minimum Qualification

  • Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical/ Mechatronic/Electromechanical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Supplier Quality Management, Product Quality Engineering and/or quality operation field.
  • Certified ISO Assessor and preferable with Certified Lead Assessor
  • Experience of performing Quality Management Audits
  • Preferably work experience in a Fab environment
  • Detail knowledge in 8D problem solving methods
  • Knowledge in quality tools; FMEA, Why-why analysis, SPC and Process Capability
  • Good organization, communication, presentation, people and leadership skills.
  • Auditing, facilitating and data analysis skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Supplier Quality would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability using statistical and quality systems knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive for resolution through analytical driven presentations
  • If requested, should be willing to travel to China for training.
  • Ability to speak, write and read in Mandarin is an added advantage.
