Job Description

  1. To manage IETS operation and maintenance of Waste Water Treatment Plant in accordance to EQA 1974, IER 2009.
  2. To ensure IETS Final discharge for all 31 parameters is always complying to DOE Standard B.
  3. Establish system  SOP, FMEA, HAIRAC and OCAP.
  4. To ensure performance monitoring of plant is always in place and executed in accordance to Guidance Document on performance monitoring of IETS.
  5. To ensure proper planning of spare parts, reagents, buffer and chemicals to sustain operation.
  6. To manage out-source vendor in operation and maintenance of the plant.
  7. To perform planning of Schedule waste as according to EQA (Schedule waste 2005)
  8. To liaise and arrange with external lab on monthly discharge monitoring report (MDMR)
  9. To ensure scrubber emission is complying and in accordance to EQA, Clean air regulation 2014
  10. To manage, plan and execute task assigned by superior or management
  11. To involve in project expansion involving tool drain design, installation and modification
  12. To perform frequent jar test to accommodate changes of waste characteristic, chemical optimization and chemical changes.
  13. To plan, manage and execute cost expenses within approved budget
  14. To involve and support in internal/external audit, cost down improvement, EHS sustainability, bright ideas, good catch and other program assigned.
  15. To execute emergency response plan in accordance to guidance by EHS team

 

Related Experience and Educational Requirement

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, ie. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics or relevant field
  2. Certified Environmental Professional in The Operational of Industrial Effluent Treatment System- CePIETSO (PCP)
  3. Authorized Entrant and Standby Person for Confined Space
  4. Authorized Gas Tester and Entry Supervisor for Confined Space
  5. Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CepSWaM)
  6. Certified Environmental Professional in Scrubber Operation (CepSO)
  7. Candidate must have good command in English to communicate with plant from other country and suppliers
  8. Possess strategic Facility Hands-on experience of Facility Team
  9. Candidate must have knowledge Microsoft office, generating and presenting report, 8D problem solving skills, Autocad, engineering structural design and build, mechanics in fluid and thermodynamics application, building design and build, SCADA and PLC. 
  10. Candidate must have good supervisory and management skills to lead a team comprises of various Engineering background towards departmental goals.
  11. Able to work with ambiguity, be highly independent and willing to take initiative, challenge and responsibilities.
