Family Description:

 

 

Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Experince in Import/Export and Malaysia Customs Compliances for Logistics Operation.

 


Scope:

  • Monitors day-to-day operations in a unit or sub-unit.
  • Fully knowledgeable of own functional area and relationship to needs of SunPower’s customers.
  • Performs many tasks as an individual contributor.
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of SunPower's standards for ethics, safety and sustainability.
  • Coordinating freight and delivery arrangement.

  • Comply to Customs & government regulation.

  • Delivery KPI and obtaining approval as well as ensure execution.

  • Delivery monitoring & fullfillment; materials, FG, Tools & Facilities Equipment.

  • Managing warehouse e.g materials & FG inventory controlling.

  • Coordinating Marine Cargoes Claims until closure.

  • Maintaining EFR Systems.

  • Managing outsource company (Logistics related).

  • Ensure EHS compliance.

  • 100% Audit and Safety Compliance.
    Complexity:

  • Works on pre-determined assignments under general supervision.
  • Applies subject matter knowledge to resolve routine issues within established guidelines.


    Impact / Discretion:

  • Poor decisions or failure to deliver results will cause schedule delays.
  • Activity primarily impacts internal operations in a well-defined area.


    Interaction:

  • Provides day-to-day direction, supervision, and mentoring for a tactical team within a functional area.
  • Responsible for reviewing and documenting performance.
  • May review, recommend and make personnel decisions (hiring and terminations).
  • May make compensation decisions.
  • Applies SunPower values in decision making and leading others.


    Supervision:

  • Operates under general supervision, receiving advice and mentoring, particularly in new situations.
  • Escalates new, complex and sensitive situations to more senior management.


    Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience
  • And 6+ years of experience as individual contributor
  • OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
  • Experience in Import/Export and Malaysia Customs Compliances for Logistics Operations.
  • Experience in Warehouse Operations
  • Multinational company experience is preferred.
  • Fluent MS-office Application & Oracle knowledge beneficial.
  • Strong analystical skill, multi-taking and good time management.
  • Excellent team work and excellent internal personal, communicaiton and presentation skills.
