Regional Sales Manager – Netherlands, home-based

As we look to the future, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in The Netherlands. In an industry that is reshaping the world’s energy future, there’s no better place to be than Maxeon Solar Technologies.

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for strengthening and developing Maxeon’s Distribution Channels and the SunPower Advantage Installer network across The Netherlands to continue to grow share in the residential and light commercial markets. 

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; is capable of forming new and developing existing relationships, and has a track record of achieving sales targets. 
 

To succeed in this role, the candidate will possess sound commercial and key account management experience coupled with a deep understanding of the premium PV industry and the distributed generation business.  The candidate should be well connected with relevant stakeholders within the industry. 

Strong interpersonal and internal coordination skills would also be required as the role interacts with several internal functions including sales operations, legal, marketing, and logistics.

The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the National Sales Director – Netherlands and will be a home-based remote position located in the Netherlands. 

Responsibilities
 

  • Achieve quarterly sales targets and annual plan
  • Manage key accounts
  • Build and strengthen the SunPower Installer network
  • Enable installers with SunPower sales tools, training, and support
  • Partner with installation key accounts to develop larger commercial or residential-program opportunities
  • Recommend and implement strategies aimed at increasing our share within the distributed generation segments
  • Negotiate and close contractual partnership arrangements
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, regulations, and tariffs relative to the solar industry
  • Complies at all times with the Environment, Health and Safety, and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules, and regulations
  • Performs other duties may be assigned

 

 

Related Experience & Educational Requirements Required
 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, or
  • 5+ years experience in PV or a closely related industry i.e. high-value products sold in the home or commercial segment, where products require installation from a professional and there is some element of after-sales support.
  • Proven ability to drive significant sales growth and meet targets
  • Technical background: the ability to communicate and quantify technical advantages of a differentiated product.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Fluency in English is required

 

Other 

  • up to 40% domestic travel.  Occasional travel within Europe for regional meetings and conferences.
