The HR Operations Manager is responsible for the design and delivery of Compensation and Benefits programs aimed at supporting talent management for the site, in alignment with the Global Rewards philosophy.  This role also oversees site-wide employee activities and company events to drive engagement.


Compensation and Benefits

  1. In partnership with the Global Total Rewards team, align, plan and direct local human resources programs relating to compensation and benefits including policies, objectives and initiatives and the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of these programs. 
  1. Align overall compensation structure, including salary structure, job family analysis, merit pay planning, bonus plan administration, and equity compensation with global programs while taking into consideration local laws and cultural differences. 
  1. Partner with People Managers to ensure completion of annual goal setting and to also ensure annual performance management is done properly in accordance to established timeline, program and framework by Global Total Rewards team. 
  1. Conduct ongoing analysis to determine the effectiveness of variable compensation programs and recommend plan changes. 


Benefits Management 

  1. Utilize the Benefits benchmarking data provided by the Global Total Rewards team to validate the competitiveness of Benefits packages for the site. 
  1. Identify opportunities to change / update the Benefits offering, including reviewing take-up data to determine whether the Benefit is being used by employees. 
  1. Manage the medical, insurance and welfare benefits for the site employees, and ensure vendors deliver against their agreed SLAs and with high levels of quality and customer experience. 
  1. Monitor budgets / spending. 


Employee Engagement

  1. Drives employee engagement through designing, planning and implementing employee or company events, including site-wide rewards activities
  2. Oversees the People Committee and the HR Operations Specialist/s in the delivery of employee activities and programs 
  3. Performs other related duties as assigned.
