Regional Sales Manager 

 

 

 

SUMMARY OF ROLE 

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing SunPower Brand market shares in Paris and covering the North West of France for installers’ network, distributors and CRE tender players. 

The Regional Sales Manager leverage and grow the existing network of decision takers in the industry to detect projects, partners and opportunities. 

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment. A solid capability in forming both new relationships and developing existing ones will be required. 

To succeed in this role you will possess a combination of leadership abilities with detail-oriented execution skills and business savvy. 

Responsibilities 

  • Aggressively spec’in and boost the most advanced technologies of the market (ACPV and lightweight flexible PV panels).  

  • Sell on value-walk and differentiation 

  • Sales accountability across all market segments and channels 

  • Develop, motivate and improve existing partners and distributions’ networks 

  • Lead negotiation of PV supply primarily with IPP (Independent Power Producers) 

  • Coordinate activities with operations and procurement team to ensure consistency and competitiveness in pricing, proposal preparation and contract definition across the region 

 

Related Experience & Educational Requirements 

  • Master of Engineering degree preferred 

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in a closely related industry i.e. high-end, capex intensive products and solutions within the (green) energy and building environment 

  • Demonstrated ‘hunter’ mentality with proven track record of independently achieving tangible results in a highly dynamic, growing and competitive market  

  • Broad based contract negotiation experience on PV supply contracts with IPP and EPC operating across different countries 

  • Familiarity with financial analysis tools to assess project investment returns 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communications skills and a reputation as a team player  

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver high quality presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences  

  • Ability to promote premium products and sale on value 

  • Living within the region,  

  • Native French speaker, fluency in English is required.
