Maxeon is seeking an energetic individual who is commercially astute, agile and keen to make a significant difference as Manager - Global Indirect Sourcing. With a nimble, hands-on, can-do attitude, this individual will play a key role in shaping the indirect procurement landscape as part of Supply Chain to support Maxeon’s growth.  


Reporting into the Director, Global Indirect Sourcing, he/ she and will be responsible for the coordination and execution of strategic and tactical sourcing strategies in a range of complex categories across our global landscape.   


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): 


  • Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing events to optimize total cost of ownership with a focus on value, performance and quality.  

  • Lead negotiations of Master Service and Master Supply Agreements, reducing risk and maximise benefits (both cost and non-cost)  

  • Lead and coordinate with regional buyers and contracts managers as required  

  • Lead and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, Legal, to develop meaningful portfolio-level market activities (advisory, RFQ, RFPs, supplier and contract management) and partnerships to ensure value delivery  

  • Input and support the introduction of relevant digitalization into procurement and supply chain process 

  • Ensure business alignment, compliance and value creation in P2P process, quality management in function, E&I and ESG initiatives  

  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally to support optimal procurement outcomes  

  • Support other projects/ initiatives within Procurement when necessary   



The least amount of skills and training candidates must have to do a specific job.   


  • Bachelor’s Degree ideally in a commercial discipline, with 8 – 10 years of relevant experience 

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in procurement across a broad range of categories (i.e. HR, professional services, travel, facilities management, marketing, IT) 

  • Ability to lead and execute procurement projects on an end-to-end basis, either directly or work with a team;  

  • Strong ability to execute contract negotiations, devise and execute contract and supplier management programs with key supplier partners   

  • Experience working with different procurement structure and models of maturity (centre-led/ regional);  

  • Strong experience in project management and change management  

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and collaborate with a broad range of business and functional stakeholders  

  • Good working knowledge of spend analytics, source to contract, procure to pay process and systems, experience with procurement digitalization would be advantageous (i.e. SAP ARIBA, Oracle, Coupa)
