SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Senior Staff International Transportation Analyst with job level of reporting to Senior Logistics Manager is primarily responsible  to lead and manage the International Transportation team’s activities to ensure the FG, Global Modcos and Fabs transport management are optimized to deliver timely and appropriate levels of service within expected cost boundaries and in a safe and sustainable level or performance in accordance to Maxeon, to achieve the Company’s goal of providing seamless supply chain coordination from suppliers to the customers.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

–             Develop and promote a safe working environment by adhering to the company and government regulations and procedures on necessary health and safety requirements.

–             Manages/leads the transportation operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, project team, and line management.

–             Ensures smooth flow of supply chains to move raw materials from suppliers to the production and move to FG the customer  through the supply chain networks to the end user.

–             Ensures compliance to government regulatory agencies and regulations on Import Export activities

–             Develop partnerships with carriers in shipping and establish quality transportation services.

–             Identify and initiate cost efficiency measures in transportation operations.

–             Manage performance of direct employees with emphasis on productivity, efficiency, and service delivery.

–             Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities.

–             Develop and manage the Transport operational metrics dashboards provide weekly reporting and escalations.

–             Resolve day to day challenges with the transport partners , freight forwarders, carriers – perform issues resolution to identify the problems , true root cause and implement corrective actions in a timely resolution .

  • Develop a sustaining model for all operational processes.

–             Closely work with transport partners to drive a 100% on time delivery of raw materials and finished goods.

–             Support, develop and motivates staffs to drive continuous improvement across a range of  work activities including the overseeing of Transport partners  activities and compliance

–             Recruit, interview, select, train, motivate, coach, and mentor staffs to maintain the team’s performance by coaching, mentoring, counselling, performance appraisal conducted as per the cadence and performance management as required.           

Review team performances and provide feedback for improvements.

–             Complies at all times to the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.

–             Performs other duties may be assigned

 

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

-              Educational- Candidates must possess  a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Customs  & Business Administration  & other relative discipline.

-              Experience – Minimum of 5 years experience in  performing within Logistics field acquired from manufacturing organization. Demonstrated experience of leading a team in an operational dynamic environment.

-              Skills/ competencies – Knowledge in Transport planning and management, Excellent and effective communication skills.

 

Preferred requirements

-              Educational – Completed a Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business related courses

-              Experience – 8 to 10 years  logistics related work experience acquired from Manufacturing settings as team leader

-              Skills/ competencies- Excellent analytics and transport planning skills, Freight negotiation & mitigation, Advance MS skills and Excellent communication  to influence all level in the organization.
