ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams and business partners
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and support groups globally
  • Acquiring team resources, developing project plans, budgets, and metrics.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules,
  • Coordinate resource allocation between project teams and project timelines
  • Supports new product development and sustaining engineering efforts for the Manufacturing plants, as applicable.
  • Lead weekly team meetings, provide stakeholder and management updates
  • Support the design and development of project business cases to ensure expected results are achieved
  • Maintain and provide reporting on project related issues, risks, and recommendations
  • Establish project communication plans including status reporting to Stakeholders
  • Create and deliver polished presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Manages stakeholder interaction and expectations
  • Ensure projects remain on budget and all project milestones are achieved
  • Manage and orchestrate the final acceptance of all project deliverables, acquiring sign-off and closing project activities as require
  • Ability for international travel to participate/oversee project deployments.  
  • Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
  • Performs other duties may be assigned

 

MINIMUM SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering or Supply Chain Management)
  • Master’s degree MBA or MsC is preferred
  • Project Management formal training and/or PMP certification preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of working experience
  • Advanced English level is a must
  • Chinese advanced level it’s highly desirable
  • Extensive Project Management, Continuous Improvement and/or Consulting experience
  • Prior experience in customer interface is a plus
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment: Engineering, Test, Quality, Planning, Materials, etc, preferred
  • Should have the following personal characteristics: strong leader, professional, hard-charging, detail-oriented, reliable, calm under fire, creative, with a can-do attitude
  • Good understanding and experience with Project Management delivery methods and tools
  • Detailed knowledge of the Project Life Cycle
  • Capable of managing complex issues in a frequently changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  •  Must have a proven ability to manage technical projects, and general business skills,
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial costing models
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with, Oracle, Windchill, and SAP are preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Project Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
