To work together with Process Engineer, Yield/Integration Engineer, and Equipment Technicians to optimize and maintain Furnace OXIDATION equipment to support safety, efficiency, and quality goals set by the company by way of continuous improvement.




  • To Install, start up, and endorse for Process Characterization of OXIDATION Furnace equipment and its support/auxiliary tools. Work with Tool Vendors, Facilities Engineering team, and Equipment Technicians closely to meet set schedules
  • To engage and work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors/Specialists, Process and

Equipment Technicians to resolve daily line issues and sustain the lines.

  • To provide first-level engineering support for Main and Support equipment issues and be involved in

engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second sourcing, yield &

reliability improvement and new line/equipment start-up.

  • To review equipment data log, errors, and SPC to ensure equipment is always running

smoothly and develop necessary PM procedures, OCAPs and PM, etc.

  • To plan training programs for Equipment & PM Technicians for capability improvement.
  • To monitor and sustain daily equipment performance.
  • To maintain and achieve good mechanical and electrical yield.
  • To drive improvement projects to reduce repair and maintenance costs.
  • To perform root cause analysis on yield and address issues using problem-solving

methodologies such as the 8D approach and 7QC Tools.

  • To support cost reduction for chemicals and spares using data analysis, engineering

evaluation and characterizations.

  • To prepare for and attend required meetings.
  • To comply with the standards, norms, and regulations regarding quality of the environment,

health and safety and manufacturing.

  • To perform other tasks as required or assigned.
  • Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations



• Degree or Master's Degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

• Minimum 1-year experience in wafer cell manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or PV Cells/

A module manufacturing background is preferable.

• Fresh graduates with good CGPA are also encouraged to apply.

• Analytical, able to perform risk analysis and mitigation with strong problem-solving skills

(FMEA, 5 whys, 8D).

• Good command of computer knowledge including MS Windows applications.

• Good team player with good communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to speak, write and read in Mandarin is an added advantage.
