SUMMARY OF ROLE

SunPower is seeking a Test PEE Engineer to empower employees by being quality-conscious with a zero-defect mentality through sufficient services and resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
• Develops new tester software and hardware.
• Performs component level debugging on hardware.
• Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
• Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
• Establishes and implements process controls and specifications.
• Establishes material quality controls on all process related materials.
• Supports manufacturing goals and objectives.
• Supports for Contract Manufacturer (CM) needs.
• Manages failure analysis of 3rd party modules
• Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time by superior.

 RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree graduate preferably Electrical Engineering, ECE or BS Physics
• With basic understanding of principles involved in Cell Testing
• Knowledge in assembly test programming (C, C++ and Visual Basic) is a plus
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Fresh graduates with excellent academic records are welcome to apply
