SUMMARY OF ROLE

Maxeon is seeking a Staff Yield Engineer responsible for maintaining Maxeon's cost competitiveness by keeping all Cell Factories' cell efficiency and quality levels at its optimum through continuous monitoring of electrical parameters, opportunity finding, project execution, and smooth transition of new technologies. The Yield Engineer reports to the Yield Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership- Cell Efficiency Roadmap Owner

• Establish standardized reporting template and data base for relevant cell product/process data.
• Study and monitor yield and efficiency cell performance trends.

 Project Leadership

• Coordinate and work closely with engineering peers to ensure that  yield targets are met;
• Able to generate experimental plans and analysis of results of engineering peers;
• Submit adequate, accurate, and updated report on the current yield performance status.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering or Physical Sciences graduate
• Understanding in Solar Cell testing and Failure Analysis.
• Have excellent organization and planning skills.  Attention to details.
• Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics
• Understanding in Solar cell testing and Failure Analysis.
• Knowledgeable on SPC Tools (JMP, Tableau)
