Are you ready to power positive change? 

 

Your Mission: As our Payroll Lead EMEA based in Spain or France (Remote) and reporting to the Director, Global Payroll, your role will be pivotal in generating the company payroll through payroll providers, and in close coordination with the Controllership team. You will manage the activities of the payroll function for the EUROPE area including, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Spain, (other countries may be assigned).

 

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change: 

 

  • Responsible for the end-to-end processes of all payrolls, including but not limited to new hires, terminations, partial payments, and data uploads while ensuring the accuracy of all payroll information for the company.
  • Ensures that the payroll processing agrees with employment terms and conditions and within Company policies and procedures. Ensures that all receivables (cash advances of employees...) from employees are deducted accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for the correct coding of payroll costs to ensure correct allocation to departmental cost centers. Working with local payroll providers to ensure the company meets all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding, and employer contributions.
  • Assist Human Resources in coordinating with employees regarding queries on payroll such as deductions, withholding taxes, and other payroll-related matters. Ensures that all statutory deductions such as withholding taxes, social security taxes.
  • Medicare, etc. are computed accurately and are being remitted including needed reports that are submitted on time. Collaborate and build relationships with internal and external business partners, (Human Resources, Accounting, employees, Vendors).
  • Interface with the payroll service vendor to resolve problems and address operational issues as they arise. Ensures compliance of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) on Payroll. Develops policies and procedures for payroll process and timekeeping. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by his superiors concerning Payroll related matters.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience handling Payroll.
  • Good understanding of French tax and social regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficient with tools such as Kel-o-Bodet, Dayforce, UKG/Kronos, etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, keen to details and well-organized.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel & PowerPoint.

 

It would be Nice if You Have:

 

  • Strong English, Strong French and other EU languages spoken.
