Your Mission: As our Lead Database Engineer, Oracle based in Hyderabad, India and reporting to the Manager, Application DBA, your role will be pivotal in supporting Oracle E-Business Suite for ERP and Advance Supply Chain Planning and must be an Oracle Application Database Administrator for E-Business Suite R12.2, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and other business application & database operations within Maxeon application landscape. Support extends to boundary systems such as WebLogic, OBIEE, OAM/OID, SOA, Hyperion Datamart, Discoverer, and Informatica.

 

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

 

  • Troubleshoot complex E-Business Suite and Oracle Database related problems.
  • Install, Patch, administer both Oracle Grid (RAC) 19c database and AWS hosted standalone 11g/12c/19c Databases.
  • Setting up OEM alerts and defining different metrics to ensure production stability.
  • Regular cloning of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.10 application and database
  • Support different projects across organizations such as application and database upgrades/etc.
  • Ensure Oracle backup integrity and usability during emergency.
  • Need to be outcome oriented, partner and drive alignment with cross functional teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.
  • Manage Database replication using Dataguard & Database backup using RMAN
  • Install, configure, patch, administer Oracle Middleware components for Weblogic, Service Oriented Architecture and / or Integrated SOA Gateway, OIM / OAM, BI Publisher, Discoverer, APEX.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another data-related field
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience working as Oracle Apps DBA E-Business Suite R12.2 and broad knowledge of the entire Oracle platform stack.
  • Hands on experience in Oracle RAC 19c, Oracle Data guard, Oracle Golden Gate, Linux and Unix server administration and scripting.
  • Experience as an Oracle Apps DBA for R12.2, with tasks involving maintenance and management of Oracle Grid Control / Enterprise Manager, Oracle WebLogic, Druva Backup, Oracle APEX, Oracle SOA, Trinity, SQL*navigator, TOAD, SQL*developer, CA Remedy configuration management.
  • Strong Knowledge of Oracle Applications Database Administration utilities, patching procedures and cloning techniques- ADOP cycle and rapid cloning.
  • Knowledge of standard operating environments like Unix, Linux and Windows and network and database technologies and protocols ODBC, SQLNet, JDBC, and TCPIP, NetApp, AWS environment
  • Experience & knowledge working with Oracle Service Orient Architecture and Integrated Gateway
  • Available to do 24x7 shifting schedule and flexible to work on Holidays and weekends.
