Are you ready to power positive change?  

Your Mission: As our Staff Firewall Administrator, based in Hyderabad, India and reporting to Manager, IT Network Infrastructure, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining secure and functional networks, leveraging their expertise in firewall administration and architecture. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and a thorough understanding of network security principles.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

• Establish rules and access controls to defend against unauthorized access, modifications, and destruction of data.
• Install, configure and maintain firewalls, AWS security group & WAF to protect the internal network.
• Collaborate with engineering department to recommend best security practices.
• Define and enforce policies, procedures, and standards related to LAN, WAN, security, and the use of computer and information assets.
• Assist in managing incidents, problems, and changes following ITIL methodology.
• Troubleshoot issues related to firewalls and provide technical assistance to users.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Create & maintain complete technical documentation.
• Works on project implementation.
• Must be willing to participate in on-call support in the nights & weekends as part of the network engineering team supporting Global Infrastructure
• Always complies the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties may be assigned.

Your Toolkit: Skills That Make a Difference

Essential for your Success:

We understand that everyone has followed unique career paths, gaining valuable knowledge along the way. Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes – apply anyway! Your experience is more than just a list of technical skills. 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking or related degree
• Must be familiar with L2 and L3 operation support on a global scale with at least 5 years experience in planning, implementation, or operation of IP network.
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols e.g., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
• Solid understanding of network security e.g., IDS, IPS, FW, AV, Proxies, DLP, PKI, SSL/TLS, SSL visibility, VPN, wireless security, DDoS, ZTNA, MicroSegmentation etc
• Experience in Palo Alto NGFW and Palo Alto Panorama
• Sharp & excellent troubleshooting skills

It would be Nice if You Have:

• Experience in Cisco Routers and Cisco Switches
• Solid understanding of network operating systems e.g., Cisco IOS, Cisco IOS XE & PAN OS
• Professional certification e.g., CCNP, CISA, CISSP
• Familiar with network design in the public cloud like AWS and AZURE
