SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Manager, Order to Cash - EMEA will be supporting sales in the EMEA region, from pre-ordering, order management to invoicing while ensuring compliance of sales transactions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct & indirect management of multilingual remote teams (shared services)
  • Accountable for the order to cash cycle in the EMEA region, from quote issuance to invoicing (revenue recognition)
  • Analyze backlog and customer behavior to propose policy changes and improvements (inventory optimization, customer satisfaction, costs reduction)
  • Accountable for Sox rules and internal processes compliance related to Order to Cash in EMEA
  • Cross-functional teamwork to ensure best in class customer support for the order to cash cycle, including on-time delivery and claim management
  • Accountable for the definition of mission-critical business metrics, SLAs, and proper reporting
  • Responsible for sales contract management and related topics (such as customer onboarding, booking policy definition & adherence, etc.)
  • Ensure proper process documentation related to Order to Cash (creation and/or adjustment)
  • Propose and implement any process improvement or automation to cut cycle handling time (continuous improvement)
  • Act as point of contact for IT support related to Order to Cash in EMEA

 

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in International Business, Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Fluency in English, French is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of cash management and sales support in a global environment  
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Experienced in ERP and CRM, ideally knowledgeable in Oracle ERP
