To support the Customer and Product Quality Engineering Function in driving and delivering Company Quality Policy and commitment by Quality Engineering department strategic and tactical improvement plans.


  • Handles Customer Complaints/8D, RMA and Product Quality related query, which includes onsite support, response & closure on timely basis. 
  • Monitor and drive improvement actions in achieving RMA cost roadmap and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Product Quality operation, which includes monitor and trigger operation team in driving improvement to meet quality (CDR/FQA DPPM/MRB cycle time/etc.) target and customer expectation.
  • Monitor and drive MRB/internal 8D closure on timely basis that meet management expectation.
  • Communicate and coordinate NCP dispose as per MRB disposition.
  • Participate and responsible for quality engineering related item of process/product engineering change that may impact product quality performance or involve customer approval/acknowledgement.
  • 8D and MRB system and database owner, and continuously enhance system capabilities.
  • FQA DPPM/CDR/8D/RMA reporting and customer complaint database owner.
  • Prepare regular quality performance summary report.
  • Coordinate regular 8D / MRB review.
  • 8D, Control Plan and/or FMEA facilitator.




Minimum Qualification

  • Degree, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering Mechanical/ Mechatronic/Electromechanical/Electrical/Electronic or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Customer Quality Management, Product Quality Engineering and/or quality operation field.
  • Good working attitude with passion in driving and supporting quality engineering methodology implementation.
  • Knowledge in quality improvement tool, sampling plan, statistical data analysis and quality engineering methodology.
  • Knowledge in SMAT, Cell Fab or Module Process.
  • Planning, report writing, problem solving, auditing and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and application experience in quality improvement/problem solving tools like 7QC tools, 8D, FMEA, Why-why analysis, SPC, statistical data analysis package (eg. JMP software) and Sampling Plan methodology.
  • Good experience in quality function such as product outgoing quality audit, in-process control, NCP handling, MRB management and Calibration/Measurement System Analysis.
  • Good organization, communication, presentation, people and leadership skills.
  • Auditing, facilitating and data analysis skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Quality Engineer would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability using statistical and quality systems knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive for resolution through analytical driven presentations
  • If requested, should be willing to travel to China for training.
  • Ability to speak, write and read in Mandarin is an added advantage.
