Sales & Technical Trainer 

The Sales & Technical Trainer will be in charge to localize and deliver training programs to SunPowrer Partners, Installers and Distributors across APAC. Maxeon training program includes a collection of learning tools like written material, instructor-led classroom training, digital learning tools, and coaching, which together form a single competency framework for driving sales and customer’s engagement.

The Main Responsibilities Will Be To



  • Collaborate and coordinate activities with subject matter experts to deliver training modules (Classroom training, webinar, job aid, etc.)
  • Support the development of the strategy for Global Sales & Technical training. Plan, organize and oversee comprehensive training program; Liaison with sales and product leaders to build robust training solutions.
  • Provide feedback against learning objectives; Assess/test to measure knowledge transfer.
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program.
  • Develop (or localize) learning material, digital learning tools and video. This especially applies to technical training on New Products launching on the APAC market.
  • Onboard new installers and distributors.
  • Organize in-class training, including management of logistics (venue selection) and communication process

Related Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering or Science discipline, with sales training experience/aptitude, or qualified in Training & Development with technical experience/aptitude.
  • Experience in a training role (minimum 2 years) for a technology company. Solar industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both internally and with customers.
  • Good skills in developing training content. Knowledge of training authoring tools (i.e. Articulate or other) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools (on-the-job or in classroom training, webinar, e-learning, workshop, virtual classroom, etc.)
  • Ability to identify and address training needs with complete courses
