SUMMARY OF ROLE

 

Business Development Support Manager at Maxeon is responsible for supporting the Business Development Lead on lead management, coordinating internal and external resources on contract negotiations, contract fulfillment and contract management.

This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented individual who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, is capable of forming new and developing existing relationships with our Utility Scale customers and has the vision and experience to manage internal and external resources to support this effort.

 

To succeed in this role, you will possess a combination of leadership abilities with detail-oriented execution skills and business savvy. The Business Development Support Manager will work closely with our Utility Sales Business Development leadership to ensure we meet our contractual obligations. You will also work closely with marketing, customer service, logistics, and finance to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. The Business Development Support Manager will also solicit feedback on products and services, collect market intelligence and drive product improvements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Customer lead management.
  • Coordinating internal and external resources to support contract negotiations.
  • Supporting contract fulfillment.
  • Supporting contract management.
  • Gather market intelligence from customers
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communication
  • Work as an individual contributor within the sales team

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 1-2 years strong experience in sales or business development in a high-ticket premium retail market (HVAC, Windows, other); photovoltaic industry experience is a plus;
  • Commitment to following and advocating processes developed as a tool to improving sales efficiency
  • Strong computer skills, including strength in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Salesforce.
  • A strong desire to be a part of a rapidly growing business with an opportunity to progress
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; team player attitude
  • Experience with contract review and managing internal and external resources to support.
  • Proven ability to drive tasks to completion and meet targets
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
