Are you ready to power positive change?  

Your Mission: As our Senior Director, Investor Relations and Corporate Development, based in San Jose, CA and reporting to the CFO, your role will be pivotal in  will developing, leading, and executing all investor relations communications plans. Additionally, this person will play a crucial role in addressing some of the company’s most critical and ambitious financial growth and investment opportunities.

 

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

•             Lead investor communications and relationship management

•             Develop and maintain relationships with analysts, venture capitalists, investment banks, financial institutions, and consulting firms.

•             Coordinate conference appearances and meeting logistics

•             Support corporate governance by preparing Board and stockholder resolutions and materials.

•             Provide critical support for capital raise and M&A activity, with responsibilities including

•             Assisting in investor outreach strategy and engagement

•             Creating investor presentations and other assets

•             Leading due diligence processes

•             Collaborating with internal and external legal teams

•             Oversee financial modelling and valuation analyses to evaluate strategy initiatives such as acquisitions, partnerships, buybacks, and other capital allocation measures.

•             Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, Product, Sales, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.

•             Collaborate to craft compelling materials

•             Assist with press releases and support materials for various business groups

•             Develop and track various data metrics

Essential for your Success:

We understand that everyone has followed unique career paths, gaining valuable knowledge along the way. Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes – apply anyway! Your experience is more than just a list of technical skills. 

 

•             Bachelor or Masters Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration or related field

•             Additional professional certifications (MBA, CFA, CPA) favorably considered

•             At least 5 years Investor Relations experience

•             At least 5 years’ experience in corporate development, private equity, or investment banking.

•             Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with deep understanding of financial modelling.

•             Excellent project management skills, with an ability to lead and manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines

•             Strategic thinking with experience partnering with leaders to identify various opportunities for both organic and inorganic growth.

•             Strong executive influence and credibility to advocate with the executive team and the Board.

•             Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

•             Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

The US base salary range for this position is $248,000-$310,000 + benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
