Are you ready to power positive change?  

 

Your Mission: As our Product Manager ESS, based in Singapore and reporting to the Director Storage Solutions, your role will be pivotal in defining and delivering on Maxeon's energy storage roadmap for its Distributed Generation market. The manager will have to make sure that our products will be delivered within planned budgets, costs, quality, time, customer experiences and overall product functionality. Core responsibilities include the development  of excellent energy storage product for global markets, collaboration with Quality, Supply chain, Marketing & sales organizations to drive product and solution sales, increase Maxeon’s market share and increase profitability.

 

You must be strong both technically and commercially, be comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders across our customers, partners, suppliers, and internal organization and you must have a passion for developing product, P&L oriented and be capable of driving business-level decisions at all levels of the organization.

 

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

 

  • Manage energy storage product offerings depending on various international market environments, local requirements, and regulations. This implies to define, develop with suppliers, launch, and refine new energy storage solutions (ESS)
  • Manage stage-gate product development process with a focus on value proposition, budgets & costs, quality, customer experience, time to market and product functionality for sign off by Executive Leadership team and deliver against agreed scope
  • Identify and mitigate market issues, risks, and barriers for successful product launches, maintenance, and growth of our solutions. This will require that you Interact with customers, channel partners and local authorities to gain insight on their needs
  • Work along side with SCM and legal department to craft partnership agreements
  • Actively participate in product release / go-to-market process including support Marketing’s delivery of training to the sales organization, channel partners and customers

 

Your Toolkit: Skills That Make a Difference

Essential for your Success:

  • At least 3 years of experience in energy storage or inverter product development and related certification (product certification)
  • Professional experience in residential distributed generation environment
  • Technical savvy on hardware likewise on software and understanding of how to support the development process of meaningful solutions for end consumers in a B2B2C business
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and leverage resources effectively up, down, and across a diverse organization around the globe
  • Customer-focused, with strong empathy, the ability to understand end-consumer needs and translate into actionable strategies

Fluent in Mandarin language
