Are you ready to power positive change?  

 

Your Mission: As our Senior Director IT – Operations, based in Singapore and reporting to the Chief Information Officer, your role will be pivotal in the primary strategic liaison between IT and designated business units or functional area senior leadership teams. The main purpose is to understand market challenges, including customer priorities and opportunities and lead the assigned stakeholder group to develop business technology strategy and co-develop an IT capabilities roadmap.  Additionally, you will also lead the domain consultant teams to drive solution discovery and the strategic implementation approaches, risk management and relationship management.

 

You will provide strategic value consultancy and guidance on the assigned stakeholder(s) IT capability needs, and IT led initiatives by communicating decisions, risks, priorities and relevant portfolio and project information.  You will proactively review IT performance scorecard relevant to the stakeholder, educate stakeholders on technology risks, digitization, IT best practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units or functions.  You will also partner business leadership, and other key stakeholders as identified, to co-develop sound business cases, scope, and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria (eg. Return on investment, productivity, compliance, etc.).

 

Initially, you will lead the manufacturing domain Operations IT teams to advocate business needs including execution and delivery of IT solutions and provide constructive feedback from customers for continuous improvement and innovation efforts. You will also work with Center of Excellence (COEs) and resource owners to plan for the pipeline of project deliverables. This role is a key member of the IT leadership team providing business input and knowledge to inform the overall business and IT priorities.

 

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

 

  • Developing and implementing of strategic long term (3year & beyond) IT industry 4.0 capability roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organization and with customers (fit-for-purpose, timely meeting customer needs).
  • Leading Data team to build industry 4.0 capabilities for efficient and effective solar manufacturing.
  • Advising and facilitating with Operations leadership team(s) to develop annual IT investment portfolio and budgets for respective business areas.
  • Owning and developing Operations IT COE to drive excellence for manufacturing our solar panels.
  • Co-defining Operations portfolio on IT investments with sound business cases/rationale and partner stakeholders to drive adoption and maximize benefits realization (ROI).

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related work experience. 
  • Global/Regional broad range of exposure to full stack of IT with digital transformation in Manufacturing industry. 1 cycle of industry 4.0 implementation in manufacturing preferred.
  • Global/Regional leadership experience with strong business partnering with Operations team.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese
  • Operational Excellence in Operations/Manufacturing scope
  • Business Process Management knowledge and/or LEAN

It would be Nice if You Have:

 

  • Experience in semiconductor/green energy sector.
