The strategic FP&A leader reports to the company Manufacturing FP&A Senior director, is an individual contributor and coordinate with all the functions of the company and directly with the Maxeon Leadership Team including CEO, CFO, COO and Heads of Sales, Strategy and R&D. The Strategic FP&A leader is responsible for the financial analysis/profitability of new and existing products and opportunities, support the sales organization to develop new channels/segments, participation in the development and maintenance of the driver-based forecast (quarter, annual and multiple year), and the presentation of recommendations to the ELT team for decision making.


Considering the increase competition within the solar industry, MAXN is looking at new business opportunities to grow its share of the market and improve profitability, the Strategic FP&A plays an important role analyzing the profitability of the current and future products, the customer base, maximize revenue globally and profitably.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate and model new projects and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain customer profitability model and provide pricing recommendations to maximize revenue globally.
  • Provide financial analysis for new and existing product, coordinate product stage gate process for finance
  • Budget/Financial Management: Participate in the management, preparation, administrations, and the control of the budget.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets, support the due diligence, integration and divestitures
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
  • In coordination with the Director Sales FP&A based in Geneva, support the development of new sales channels



  • New and existing products profitability analysis
  • Modeling new business opportunities and strategic projects, and the Executive team with sound financial data for decision making.
  • Developing 3 statement models for new business opportunities or expansion projects.
  • Supporting the sales organization to grow the business globally


Job Qualifications and experience required:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Finance.
  • At least 8 to 10 years’ business experience
  • Excellent communication skills, able to adapt language to Executives
  • Experience with manufacturing organizations
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience managing international business operations desired
  • English speaking
  • Mobility, reactivity and high availability requested.
